At Solitaire Electrical Services we are proud to be a specialist in Medical Installations, and being fluent in the MEIGaN Regulations and with the new BS7671.2011 Medical Locations section 710, which is now in force (1st Jan 2012)

Our team of fully qualified engineers and managers deliver a first class service, and from 2010 onwards we have undertaken numerous installations for leading manufactures of medical equipment.

Working with Philips Healthcare & Kitto Construction Ltd on a new X-Ray room for the community hospital in Trowbridge.

Nuffield Health - Exeter Hospital.

We are working with Nuffield Health Hospitals and Philips Healthcare on the upgrade of an existing X-ray room. New electrical services to MEIGaN Regs & BS7671:2011

Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. New CT with Toshiba Medical. Complete March 2014.

Bristol Children's Hospital. Oct 2013.

We have completed two room this year in the Bristol Royal Children's Hospital, for Philips Healthcare and Toshiba Medical Systems.

The murals on the wall are designed by the children and then painted on the new X Ray room walls. One room has a Jungle theme, 2nd room a Space theme, and the room we are working on now will have a Circus Theme.

The rooms show different images.

We are on site now "Oct 2013" undertaking another installation. More information to follow.

Cossham Hospital - Bristol Jan 2013.

Working for Philips Healthcare on a new CT installation at the newly refurbished Bristol, Cossham Hospital.

The new room had been fitted out to a high standard by others. We carried out control, earthing and X Ray warning signs for PHC.

As part of our summer works on the installation of a new Toshiba CT, we have installed a new 250amp 400 volt electrical supply. This supply will feed a mobile CT unit.

2no Existing X Ray rooms are being upgraded to a digital X Ray system. Due to be complete at the end of November 2013.

Bristol Children's Hospital - Oct 2013.

Philips Healthcare installation in Room 2. Completed on time. This room will have a Circus theme, again designed by the children.

Spire South Bank Hospital. Worcester.

New CT with Toshiba Medical. Starts Jan 2014. The works are now complete. The existing staff changing rooms, laundry area, shower rooms etc have all been demolished and the area converted to the new Toshiba Medical CT Scanner. Other areas included the existing X ray corridor, Ultrasound room and Lithotripsy Room. The new CT room has its own control room. New 5 core 70.0mm LSF/SWA cables have been installed to supply the CT and also local power and lighting services. All the new lighting is digital switch dimmable, and the room also has new LED colour changing cove lighting with DMX controls.

Spire Bristol Hospital. MRI Room.

We have installed a new LED colour changing lighting system to an existing and live MRI Scanner Room. The installation is now complete. We have also installed new RF Filter Wave Guides to the existing RF Cage. Following full RF and Spike tests the system has passed, as we say, with flying colours. We can now offer this system to existing MRI rooms (subject to a servey) and new rooms. We can also offer colour change fibre optic lighting as well as wired LED lighting. The room has full DMX ontrols to match the CT room which we completed in the summer of 2013.
